Production area: Hillside vineyards located in the municipality of Vernazza

Grape varieties: Albarola, Bosco, Vermentino

Sensory characteristics: Vermentino, Bosco, and Albarola grapes, harvested late in the most suitable areas of Corniglia, are vinified with their skins. During maceration, a long wooden stick is used to repeatedly push the skins under the fermenting must, following an ancient manual practice known as "refulà," hence the name of this maceration. This technique, combined with the long aging on the lees, kept in suspension for months, gives Refulà a full and complex structure. The full bouquet expresses citrus and floral notes, aromas of ripe, pulpy fruit, and spicy notes. On the palate, the structure is elegantly enhanced by freshness and rich extracts; the finish is remarkably persistent.

Serving suggestions: At a temperature of approx. 14°C in a classic glass
